ATOM and NEAR launching on On-chain Earn

OKX will offer ATOM and NEAR subscriptions on On-chain Earn starting from Jan 04, 2024 at 11:00 (UTC). This will allow users to experience real on-chain rewards without any hassle.

To stake NEAR and ATOM on On-chain Earn, follow the instructions below:
On browser: Navigation bar > Grow > Earn > On-chain Earn, search NEAR and ATOM and select subscribe
On the OKX app: Grow > Earn > On-chain Earn, search NEAR and ATOM and select subscribe
Product mechanism
Earnings and subscription
- If you subscribe before 03:00 (UTC) daily:
- Your NEAR and ATOM will be on-chain and start accruing interest at 03:00 the same day. Your ATOM rewards will be distributed to your funding account daily, whereas NEAR rewards will be distributed every 3 days.
- If you subscribe after 03:00 (UTC) daily:
- Your NEAR and ATOM will be on-chain and start accruing interest at 03:00 the same day. Your ATOM rewards will be distributed to your funding account daily, whereas NEAR rewards will be distributed every 3 days.
Redemption information
- Redemption requests can be submitted at any time.
- NEAR: It takes 3-6 days after submitting a redemption request for your NEAR to be successfully redeemed and distributed to your funding account. You won't earn rewards during the redemption period.
- ATOM: It takes around 21 days after submitting a redemption request for your ATOM to be successfully redeemed and distributed to your funding account. You won't earn any rewards during the redemption period.
- If you redeem your principal before the reward distribution date, OKX will calculate rewards based on the actual number of days staked and distribute them to your funding account on the reward distribution day.

- As Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanisms vary for different tokens, it's important to fully understand the rules and details of each project before subscribing. These include, but aren't limited to minimum redemption amounts, interest accrual start times, reward distribution times, redemption periods, and expected annualized earnings.
- OKX will charge a certain 1% service fee for ATOM staking and a 5% service fee for NEAR staking. For more detailed fee information, please refer to the respective tokens' product introduction pages.
